Can you tell the difference in your green salads?

Same dressing two bowls, two different lettuces

Seriously, you can taste the difference!

My own grown organic greens are way delicious but in December I settle for store bought romaine and a mixture. For Thanksgiving I bought a package of organic greens. Rarely do I consider spending the extra $$ but for the holiday…

Last night I mixed up a batch of vinaigrette dressing and finished off the last of the greens. Oh so good.

Today I mixed some romaine and iceberg with the same dressing. Just waiting to enjoy the taste from the night before. Not even close.

I knew it made a difference but never realized how much until today. Well worth the work to grow my own and to buy organic in the winter.

For my next trick…let’s figure out how to grow them all winter. Ya think? 🙂
